What is Feng Shui?

A 4,000-year tradition of harmonizing human life with the living energy of the environment — from burial sites to modern living spaces.

A Brief Summary

Feng Shui dates back 4,000 years ago when the early civilizations in China were choosing burial sites for their ancestors. Their quest to find the perfect resting place for all eternity involved working intimately with the heavens and the earth and the realities of the surrounding terrain.

Although Feng Shui is not primarily a Buddhist religion, it does carry Buddhist values, ethics, and philosophies into the mix.

The BTB School

While Traditional Feng Shui relies on a compass, The Black Hat School (BTB) is an amalgamation of many influences — examining the immediate environment and the chi influenced by modern life.

Energy Flow

The Mouth of Chi

Feng Shui actually starts with the activities in your neighborhood. All the day-to-day activities in the city can affect your home and property. The main door to your home or business is extremely auspicious — it is referred to as the "mouth of chi-energy."

Making Change

To Change Your Life

To make a change, you will need to change something in your environment. Each Life Area has its own energy to consider, and it is recommended that you discuss your individual needs with a qualified Feng Shui consultant.

Remedies & Enhancements

What is a Feng Shui Cure?

A "cure" is a remedy or solution of logical, reasonable intent to move or redirect negative energy into a positive form. Often, we begin with tangible items to arrange the space, then move into cures set with intention.

You can be proactive with Feng Shui — reinforcing areas before any crisis comes your way. Or, you can wait until the crisis arrives and then seek support. The proactive approach typically yields faster results.
